Chengyu Cao earned his Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is currently an associate professor in the School of Mechanical, Aerospace, and Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Connecticut. His research interests include dynamics and control, unmanned systems, and artificial intelligence. He also has a keen interest in physics and cosmology.
Lucas Cao is fascinated by astrophysics and passionate about engineering. He has explored foundational cosmology, relativity, and introductory quantum mechanics through independent study. He has also contributed to fiber-optic sensing research through experimental work, field testing, and manuscript preparation, with work appearing in conference and technical publications. In his free time, he enjoys reading fantasy novels.
Vincy Cao enjoys mathematics and physics. She is especially interested in the ways mathematical ideas can help describe and illuminate the physical world.
